The Golf GTI 16V has came of age in Mk2 form: fast, powerful and with dual overhead cams, 16 valves and 139hp.

This car has been restored and tastefully updated.  

Fully rebuilt 2.0 16V engine from the later  Golf MK3 model. GTI Engineering port & polished head, Schrick 266º cams operate the 16v valves. The whole Bosch K-Jet fuel injection system has been replace, restored and uprated with 10% more fuel flow. A standalone DTA ECU controls ignition and idle with redline set a 7,500RPM.

Brake are G60 2800mm with a Golf MK3 23.5mm brake master cylinder and Golf mk4 rear callipers.
